Statement of faith

1.  We believe in scripture of both Old and New Testament in their original writing inspired by God.
2.  We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
3.  We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and is true God and true man.
4.  We believe man is created in God’s own image. Man sinned by the incurring the penalty of death, physical and spiritual. All humans    inherit a sinful nature.
5.  Jesus Christ died for our sins, and all who believe, are justified through His shed blood. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus. His ascension into Heaven, and at present our High Priest and advocate, and in the personal return of Jesus Christ.
6.  All who repent of their sins and received Christ, are born again and become children of God.
7.  We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering and equipping believers for service.
8.  We believe in the resurrection of both the just and the unjust, the eternal blessedness of the redeemed, and the eternal banishment of those who have rejected the offer of salvation.
9.  The one true church is the whole company of those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ
10. Jesus Christ appointed two ordinances—Baptism in water and the Lord’s supper to be observed as acts of obedience and as perpetual witnesses of the Christian faith, Baptism as immersion of the believers in water, with Christ in burial and resurrection, and the Lord’s supper being the emblems symbolical of the Saviour’s broken body and shed blood. In remembrance of His sacrificial death till He comes.
11. Divine healing was provided for in the Old Testament and is an integral part of the Gospel.
12. We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of the new birth and continuing until the consummation of salvation. AMEN
